ICT Client Services

Are you passionate about providing quality ICT support in an educational setting? We're hiring for multiple levels of Client Services Support Officers to join our dynamic team! 

At Catholic Education Tasmania we are dedicated to providing exceptional ICT services to support student learning outcomes and ensure the smooth operation of our system of schools and offices. Level 1: Client Services Support Officer

At Level 1, our Support Officers are the frontline responders, addressing routine ICT service needs for both students and staff. From resolving operating system glitches to assisting with audio-visual equipment during school events, our Level 1 officers ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. Their responsibilities include maintaining records, deploying ICT equipment, and promoting responsible ICT use among students. Responsible for resolving or escalating ICT service requests from our stakeholders with care and sensitivity.

Level 2: Client Services Support Officer

Moving up to Level 2, our Support Officers delve deeper into technical support, ensuring that all ICT service requests and incidents are promptly resolved or escalated as needed. They work closely with technicians and service areas to prioritise tasks, maintain accurate records in the ITSM tool, and contribute to the development of client service projects. A Certificate III in ICT or equivalent experience is essential at this level, along with a commitment to continuous improvement. 

Level 3: Client Services Support Officer

At the highest level, our Support Officers take on a supervisory role, coordinating the delivery of a wide range of ICT services while aligning them with the school's strategic objectives. From establishing procedures for technical support to providing guidance on ICT policy and procedures, Level 3 officers play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting staff and student learning. Diploma-level qualifications in ICT and significant experience are essential, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
