Tasmanian Catholic Education Office delivers successful 2024 CET Business Services Conference

The Tasmanian Catholic Education Office recently held its 2024 CET Business Services Conference from July 24 to 26, drawing attendees for an enriching three-day event.

The conference commenced with a welcoming cocktail reception at the Henry Jones Art Hotel, setting an elegant tone for the two days ahead. The following morning, participants gathered at the Hotel Grand Chancellor for a series of opening prayer, welcome and keynote speeches, which framed the event with a sense of community and purpose.

Over the next two days, attendees benefitted from award winning keynote speakers and industry professional who offered valuable insights aimed at enhancing both personal and professional development around the value of each person and keeping our sparkle alive. As well as leadership, communication, working with each other, wellbeing and mindset. The varied presentations provided a fresh perspective and motivated delegates to refine their attitudes and approaches.

A popular workshop option was the Hobart History walking tour, offering a refreshing break from the formal sessions and a chance to explore the local surroundings. The conference also featured the "Sapphire Soiree" dinner themed night, complete with a delightful dinner buffet and serenaded by "The Croon and Croonettes". The evening culminated in a festive atmosphere, where Anila was crowned "Sapphire Queen" for being best dressed.

The conference culminated on a high note with a wrap up session by two of our presenters and a heartfelt closing prayer led by Sam Clear, and extended gratitude to the organisers for their efforts in creating a memorable and impactful experience.

Initial feedback from the delegates has been amazing and we are looking forward to building an even better event for 2025.
