This Sunday is the Feast of Christ the King and the Gospel Reading is Luke 23:35-43.
And the people stood by, watching; but the rulers scoffed at him, saying, “He saved others; let him save himself, if he is the Christ of God, his Chosen One!” The soldiers also mocked him, coming up and offering him vinegar, and saying, “If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!” There was also an inscription over him, “This is the King of the Jews.”
One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!” But the other rebuked him, saying, “Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingly power.”And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Staff Survey
We are making contact with all CET school staff and TCEO staff (under the EA) to invite you to share your feedback and ideas. Our purpose, as a system, is to support you in your work to the best of our ability.
We want to hear from ALL employees - teachers, administration staff, teacher assistants, utility officers and all non-teaching staff, and TCEO staff - to know what is supporting you in your work, what other assistance we could provide and, most importantly, how we can help you to flourish in your service to our students.
We really encourage you to take this opportunity in the spirit in which it is offered: to celebrate what we already do well, and to discover areas we could potentially address or any steps needed to improve your working life in CET.
The surveys will be open until Friday 25 November 2022.
