Nominations are now open for the 2022 Catholic Education Commission Tasmania Recognition Awards.
The Catholic Education Commission Tasmania Recognition Awards were established to recognise and honour those who have contributed in a special way to the growth, development, and achievements of Catholic Education Tasmania.
Nominations close Friday 6 May 2022 at 5.00pm.
25 Years of Service Awards - Closing tomorrow
The Catholic Education Commission Tasmania 25 Years of Service Awards 2022 are available to all staff who are currently employed in a Tasmanian Catholic school, college or education office and have completed 25 years of service in Catholic education across Australia.
To be eligible for the 2022 awards, you must have completed 25 years of service by the end of the 2021 school year.
Nominations close Friday 6 May 2022 at 5:00pm.
Harmony and Friendship Week at St Therese's Catholic School
This week students and staff at St Therese's celebrated Harmony and Friendship Week.
This week brought together the themes of the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence and Harmony Day.
During the week all classes focused their learning on these important themes recognising diversity, belonging, kindness and tolerance.
Special events run during the week included wearing orange to celebrate diversity...everyone belongs! on Tuesday; a whole school story sharing over zoom "I'm Australian Too" by Mem Fox, read by Deputy Principal Andrew Pinelli; and a Harmony Day Pasta Feast, raising over $400 for Project Compassion!
