With the end of the school year approaching it's time to give you an update on the progress of our work to deliver Years 11 and 12 across more Catholic college sites in the greater Hobart region.*
We’ve started engaging with local councils and architects to develop the plans that will eventually become new student learning spaces! This is a very exciting part of the project and we can’t wait to share more about this with you as the work continues.
The Project team has been actively meeting both as a group and with key people within Catholic Education Tasmania. The Project team consists of Principals from Guilford Young College, MacKillop Catholic College, St Mary's College, St Virgil's College and St Aloysius Catholic College, and as well as other CET subject matter experts in the fields of pedagogy, curriculum, ICT, facilities, human resources and project management.
CET is also engaging with the Office of Education Registrar and TASC to keep them informed as we prepare to extend three of our colleges to Years 11 and 12. They will assist us in ensuring we meet the relevant standards and requirements to deliver quality learning based on Gospel values to our students.
Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses!
